“Sitting at a computer or playing video games makes you fat … right? Not necessarily. This past month I’ve had a chance to check out the Wii Fit (and Balance Board) and the Body Bugg — two techie toys that give you the kind of motivation and feedback that can get, and keep, you on track.

If you’re going to have a console gaming system for your family’s use, consider the Wii. Anything to get you off your butt, on your feet and moving is an improvement in my book! My favorite aspect of using the Balance Board is that it will develop balance, posture and body awareness.”
