Activity-Based Video Games Burn Calories Better

“Video games that get kids moving may help counteract weight problems, according to a short small comparison trial.
For instance, an active game in which children traveled around a virtual Hong Kong dodging obstacles and stamping out ninjas quadrupled energy expenditure compared with typical sedentary videogames, found Robin R. Mellecker and Alison M. McManus, Ph.D., of the University of Hong Kong.”
